Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup tomato juice (low-sodium for better control)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 to 3 dashes Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 to 6 dashes hot sauce
  • Pinch of celery salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Ice
  • Optional: Grated fresh horseradish, smoked paprika, pickle brine, olive juice for additional flavor
  • Garnish: Celery stalk, lime or lemon wedge, pickle spear, cherry tomatoes, cucumber slices, olives, fresh herbs

Instructions

  1. Fill a tall glass with ice.
  2. Pour in 1 cup of tomato juice and 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice.
  3. Add 2 to 3 dashes of Worcestershire sauce and your preferred amount of hot sauce.
  4. Sprinkle in a pinch of celery salt and a few twists of black pepper.
  5. Stir, taste, and adjust seasoning if necessary by adding more lemon juice or Worcestershire sauce.
