- 6 celery stalks, leafy tops included if you have them
- 1 large cucumber, scrubbed
- 1 to 2 teaspoons fresh lemon or lime juice
- 1 small knob of ginger, optional
- Pinch of cayenne to taste
- Ice cubes, optional
Instructions
- Wash everything well. Cut the cucumber and celery into pieces that fit your juicer chute.
- Juice celery, cucumber, and ginger. Stir in lemon juice.
- Add a pinch of cayenne. Taste, then add a tiny pinch more if you want more heat.
- Pour over ice if you like, and sip slowly.
Notes
Chill your glasses ahead of time and add a pinch of flaky sea salt to the rim for a savory twist. This juice keeps for up to 24 hours in the fridge.
