Ingredients

  • 2 large oranges, peeled
  • 1 pink grapefruit, peeled
  • 1 to 2 inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled
  • 1 small lemon, peeled (optional)
  • A pinch of sea salt (optional)
  • Ice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep your produce by peeling the citrus and removing any large seeds.
  2. If using a juicer, feed oranges, grapefruit, lemon, and ginger through it, then stir in a pinch of salt.
  3. If using a blender, blend the citrus segments and chopped ginger until smooth, then strain through a fine mesh strainer or nut milk bag.
  4. Chill briefly in the fridge for 10 minutes or serve over ice.
  5. Adjust the flavors to your liking by balancing the sweetness of orange and tartness of grapefruit.

Notes

For a sweeter version, add pineapple; for an earthy note, include fresh turmeric.
