- 2 large oranges, peeled
- 1 pink grapefruit, peeled
- 1 to 2 inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled
- 1 small lemon, peeled (optional)
- A pinch of sea salt (optional)
- Ice (optional)
Instructions
- Prep your produce by peeling the citrus and removing any large seeds.
- If using a juicer, feed oranges, grapefruit, lemon, and ginger through it, then stir in a pinch of salt.
- If using a blender, blend the citrus segments and chopped ginger until smooth, then strain through a fine mesh strainer or nut milk bag.
- Chill briefly in the fridge for 10 minutes or serve over ice.
- Adjust the flavors to your liking by balancing the sweetness of orange and tartness of grapefruit.
Notes
For a sweeter version, add pineapple; for an earthy note, include fresh turmeric.
