Detox Juice for Liver Cleansing


Description

A refreshing detox juice recipe that helps cleanse the liver and boost your energy.


Ingredients

  • 1 fresh beetroot
  • 1 big handful of kale or spinach
  • 1 crisp green apple
  • 1 juicy lemon
  • 2 stalks of celery
  • 1 nub of fresh ginger
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • A bit of turmeric root (optional)

Instructions

  1. Chop up all the ingredients.
  2. If using a juicer, process everything through the juicer.
  3. If using a blender, add all the chopped ingredients along with a splash of water, blend, and then pour the mixture through a mesh strainer to catch any bits.
  4. Squeeze in some fresh lemon juice and mix.
  5. Serve super cold with ice.
  6. Drink immediately for the best taste and freshness.
