Ingredients

- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1 ripe banana, sliced (frozen for thickness)
- 3/4 to 1 cup milk of choice (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1/2 cup plain or vanilla yogurt (regular or Greek)
- 1 to 2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds or ground flax (optional)
- A few ice cubes (if using fresh fruit)
Instructions
- Add milk to the blender.
- Add yogurt and sweetener if using.
- Add banana and strawberries.
- Sprinkle in chia or flax if using.
- Blend on low to start, then increase to high until creamy.
- Stop and scrape the sides if needed, then blend again for 10 to 15 seconds.
Notes
For a protein boost, add Greek yogurt or protein powder. For variations, try different liquids or add-ins like spinach or nut butter.
