Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 ripe banana, sliced (frozen for thickness)
  • 3/4 to 1 cup milk of choice (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1/2 cup plain or vanilla yogurt (regular or Greek)
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds or ground flax (optional)
  • A few ice cubes (if using fresh fruit)

Instructions

  1. Add milk to the blender.
  2. Add yogurt and sweetener if using.
  3. Add banana and strawberries.
  4. Sprinkle in chia or flax if using.
  5. Blend on low to start, then increase to high until creamy.
  6. Stop and scrape the sides if needed, then blend again for 10 to 15 seconds.
