Description

A creamy, quick, and delicious smoothie that combines figs and vanilla for a sweet treat that feels like dessert but drinks like breakfast.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup figs (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 small ripe banana
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk (almond, oat, or dairy)
  • 1/2 cup yogurt (Greek or dairy-free)
  • 1/2 to 1 cup ice
  • Maple syrup or date (optional, to taste)
  • Pinch of cinnamon (optional)
  • Tiny pinch of sea salt

Instructions

  1. If using dried figs, soak them in warm water for 10 minutes and drain.
  2. Add figs, banana, vanilla, milk, yogurt, ice, and optional sweeteners to a blender.
  3. Blend until smooth, adjusting the ice for desired thickness.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For added richness, consider adding a tablespoon of nut butter or a scoop of protein powder. Store leftovers in an airtight jar in the fridge or freeze in ice cube trays for later.
