Ingredients

- 2 tablespoons fresh turmeric root or 2 teaspoons ground turmeric
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Zest of half a lemon
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
- 2 tablespoons hemp hearts
- 1 soft date or 2 teaspoons honey
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil or almond butter
- A pinch of black pepper
- A small pinch of sea salt
- 3 tablespoons water or coconut water
Instructions
- Blend all ingredients until smooth and thick.
- Spoon mixture into silicone ice cube trays or mini molds.
- Freeze until firm, then pop into a freezer bag.
- Use one bomb per smoothie for a light snack, or two for a bigger meal.
Notes
Best enjoyed with a cup of liquid, a cup of fruit, and optional greens or frozen cauliflower rice. Adjust sweetness with more fruit if desired.
