A creamy, tangy smoothie that combines dragon fruit, passion fruit, and banana for a refreshing and nutritious start to your day.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 heaping cup dragon fruit (fresh cubes or frozen)
- 2 passion fruits, scooped for pulp and seeds (or 3 to 4 tablespoons passion fruit puree)
- 1 small ripe banana, sliced and frozen if possible
- 3/4 cup coconut water or chilled water
- 1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt or coconut yogurt
- 1 teaspoon fresh lime juice
- 1 to 2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
- A few ice cubes (optional)
- Pinch of sea salt
Instructions
- Add liquid first, then fruit, then yogurt and ice into your blender.
- Blend on low for 10 seconds, then increase speed and blend until ultra smooth, about 45 seconds to 1 minute.
- Taste and adjust if necessary, adding more lime for zing or honey for sweetness.
- Pour into a chilled glass and enjoy immediately.
Notes
For added texture, top with chia seeds or toasted coconut. For a protein boost, increase yogurt or add protein powder.
