Aronia Berry Juice


Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups aronia berries, fresh or frozen
  • 1 medium apple or pear, cored and chopped
  • 1 to 2 cups cold water, as needed
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, peeled and sliced (optional)
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Ice, for serving

Instructions

  1. Add aronia berries, apple or pear, 1 cup water, lemon juice, and ginger to your blender.
  2. Blend on high until completely smooth. Taste and adjust by adding more water or honey if needed.
  3. For a smoother texture, strain through a fine mesh strainer, if desired.
  4. Serve over ice.

Notes

Chill your glass for a crisp sip, and store any leftovers in the fridge for up to 48 hours.
