Description
A refreshing juice packed with vitamin C using acerola cherries and fresh fruits for a quick energy boost.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup frozen acerola cherries or 1 frozen acerola puree pack
- 1 medium orange, peeled or 3/4 cup fresh orange juice
- 1/2 cup pineapple chunks, fresh or frozen
- 1/2 cup cold water or coconut water
- 1 teaspoon fresh lime juice
- Small slice fresh ginger (optional)
- Honey or maple syrup to taste (optional)
- Ice as needed
Instructions
- Add acerola, orange, pineapple, water, lime, and ginger to the blender.
- Blend on high until smooth. If too thick, add a splash more water.
- Taste. If you want it sweeter, add a little honey or maple and blend again.
- Strain through a fine mesh sieve for a thinner juice, or enjoy it as is for extra fiber.
- Pour over ice and sip immediately.
- Run orange, pineapple, and ginger through the juicer.
- Stir in thawed acerola puree and lime juice, then add cold water to reach your preferred strength.
- Serve over ice right away.
Notes
Drink juice fresh for maximum vitamin C. Store in an airtight jar in the fridge if necessary, and consume within 24 hours.
