Apple Granny Smith Green Juice


Description

A bright and refreshing juice made with tart Granny Smith apples, ginger, and lemon, perfect for a quick energy boost.


Ingredients

  • 2 medium Granny Smith apples, cored
  • 1 to 2 inches fresh ginger, peeled
  • 1 medium cucumber
  • 1 big handful spinach or kale
  • Juice of half to one lemon
  • Cold water (optional, to thin if needed)
  • Ice (optional, for serving)
  • Mint leaves (optional, for freshness)
  • Pinch of sea salt (optional, for flavor)
  • Splash of raw apple cider vinegar (optional, for tang)

Instructions

  1. Wash all ingredients thoroughly.
  2. Core the apples and peel the ginger.
  3. If using a juicer, feed cucumber, greens, apples, and ginger through the juicer, finishing with lemon juice.
  4. If using a blender, chop cucumber, apples, ginger, and lemon juice, blend until smooth, then strain through a fine mesh sieve.
  5. Serve over ice and garnish with a thin apple slice if desired.

Notes

For a sweeter drink, mix in half a sweeter apple like Honeycrisp. Fresh is best – consume immediately or store in an airtight jar for up to 24 hours.
