A refreshing lemon water detox drink that energizes and rejuvenates for sluggish mornings.
Ingredients

- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 8 to 10 ounces filtered water
- 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
- Pinch of cayenne pepper
- Optional: Slice of fresh ginger, mint leaves, pinch of sea salt
Instructions
- Juice 1 lemon to get about 2 tablespoons of fresh juice.
- Pour the juice into a glass with 8 to 10 ounces of filtered water.
- Add 2 tablespoons of pure maple syrup and a pinch of cayenne.
- Stir or shake until the maple fully dissolves. Taste and adjust as necessary.
- Optional: Add a thin slice of ginger or a few torn mint leaves and let sit for 1 minute to infuse.
- Drink slowly and notice how you feel.

Keep your glass near your toothbrush for a reminder to drink it. You can prepare the juice in advance and store it in the fridge.
