A refreshing mocktail featuring crisp cucumber, fragrant basil, and a splash of lime, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients

- 1 small cucumber, thinly sliced, plus a few slices for garnish
- 6 to 8 fresh basil leaves, plus extra for garnish
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice, more to taste
- 1 to 2 teaspoons honey or simple syrup, optional
- Pinch of sea salt
- 1 cup cold sparkling water
- Plenty of ice
Instructions
- Add cucumber slices and basil leaves to the bottom of a sturdy glass. Sprinkle on a pinch of salt.
- Muddle gently for 10 to 15 seconds to bruise the basil and release its oils.
- Stir in lime juice and honey. Taste and adjust as needed.
- Fill the glass with ice. Pour in sparkling water and gently stir to combine.
- Top with a basil sprig and a few cucumber slices. Serve immediately.
Notes
Great for brunches, baby showers, or post-workout snacks. Try swapping pineapple juice for half the sparkling water for a fruity twist.
