Ingredients

- 1 ripe banana, sliced and frozen
- 1 large pink or ruby grapefruit, peeled and segmented
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt or dairy-free yogurt
- 1/2 cup cold water or coconut water
- 1 to 2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup, to taste
- A few ice cubes (optional)
- Pinch of sea salt (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions
- Add grapefruit segments to the blender first, followed by the banana, yogurt, liquid, and sweetener.
- Blend on low to start, then increase to high until smooth and frothy.
- Taste and adjust sweetness. If too thick, add a splash more water. If too thin, add a few ice cubes and blend again.
- Pour into a chilled glass and enjoy right away for the best texture.
Notes
For the freshest taste, prep smoothie packs by freezing banana slices and peeled grapefruit segments and blend with yogurt in the morning.
