A refreshing and zesty plum ginger lime juice that awakens your taste buds, perfect for lazy afternoons or special gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 ounces gin or non-alcoholic substitute
  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 1 ounce simple syrup or honey syrup
  • 1 ripe plum, pitted and sliced
  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger or a few thin slices
  • Ice for shaking
  • Optional: 1 egg white for foam, lime wheel or plum slice for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a cocktail shaker, muddle the plum slices with ginger and simple syrup until juicy.
  2. Pour in gin and lime juice, adding egg white if using.
  3. Dry shake without ice for 10 seconds to build foam.
  4. Add ice and shake hard for another 10 to 12 seconds.
  5. Double strain into a chilled coupe or rocks glass.
  6. Garnish with a lime wheel or small plum slice and serve immediately.

Notes

Use ripe but firm plums for best muddling results. Adjust sweetness to taste based on the tartness of the plums.
