Ingredients

- 2 ounces gin or non-alcoholic substitute
- 1 ounce fresh lime juice
- 1 ounce simple syrup or honey syrup
- 1 ripe plum, pitted and sliced
- 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger or a few thin slices
- Ice for shaking
- Optional: 1 egg white for foam, lime wheel or plum slice for garnish
Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker, muddle the plum slices with ginger and simple syrup until juicy.
- Pour in gin and lime juice, adding egg white if using.
- Dry shake without ice for 10 seconds to build foam.
- Add ice and shake hard for another 10 to 12 seconds.
- Double strain into a chilled coupe or rocks glass.
- Garnish with a lime wheel or small plum slice and serve immediately.
Notes
Use ripe but firm plums for best muddling results. Adjust sweetness to taste based on the tartness of the plums.
