Kiwi Watermelon Lime Juice

Description

A refreshing and vibrant juice that tastes like summer, combining sweet watermelon, tangy lime, and zesty kiwi.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups seedless watermelon, cubed and well chilled
  • 4 ripe kiwis, peeled
  • 2 limes, juiced (about 3 tablespoons)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or agave, optional, to taste
  • 1 small pinch sea salt, optional, for balance
  • 1 to 2 cups ice, for blending or serving
  • Fresh mint leaves, optional for garnish
  • Optional splash of chilled sparkling water for fizz

Instructions

  1. Prep the fruit: Peel kiwis and cube watermelon. Juice the limes. Keep everything cold.
  2. Blend or juice: For blender method, add watermelon, kiwis, lime juice, a pinch of salt, and a handful of ice. Blend until very smooth. Taste and sweeten if needed. For juicer method, run kiwis and watermelon through your juicer. Stir in lime juice and a pinch of salt. Chill for 10 minutes if you can.
  3. Strain, if you like: For a silky texture with the blender method, pour through a fine mesh strainer. I usually skip straining.
  4. Fizz it up: If you want bubbles, pour into glasses and top with a splash of sparkling water just before serving.
  5. Garnish and serve: Add ice, mint leaves, and a thin lime wheel. Sip immediately.

Notes

This juice can be stored in a sealed jar in the fridge for up to 24 hours. If the juice separates, give it a good shake before serving.
