Ingredients

- 1 heaping cup ripe papaya, cubed and chilled
- 1 small ripe banana, frozen if possible
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated or finely minced
- 1 to 2 teaspoons lime juice
- 3/4 cup unsweetened coconut water or water
- 1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt or dairy-free yogurt
- 1 to 2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup, optional
- A few ice cubes, optional
Instructions
- Blend all ingredients until silky.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or lime juice as needed.
- Add more ginger or yogurt for extra flavor and creaminess if desired.
Notes
For a nutrient boost, consider adding chia seeds, flax seeds, or a scoop of protein powder. The smoothie can be prepped in advance by measuring out the fruit and ginger.
