Ingredients

- 2 large red apples, cored and chopped
- 1 heaping cup of ripe strawberries, hulled
- 1 small orange, peeled and seeded, or half a lemon
- 1 to 2 teaspoons fresh ginger, peeled and chopped (optional)
- Pinch of turmeric (optional)
- Ice cubes and cold water as needed
Instructions
- Wash your produce well, scrubbing the apples under cool water.
- Chop the apples into chunks and remove the strawberry stems.
- Juicer method: Feed apples, strawberries, citrus, and ginger through the juicer. Stir in a tiny pinch of turmeric at the end.
- Blender method: Add everything to your blender with 1/2 cup cold water. Blend until smooth, then strain through a fine mesh sieve or nut milk bag if you prefer a clearer juice.
- Taste and adjust: Add more citrus or a splash more water to thin. Pour over ice and enjoy cold.
Notes
Chill your fruit before juicing for a crisp drink. Optional boosters include mint leaves, chia seeds, and a tiny pinch of black pepper if using turmeric.
