- 3 to 4 ripe figs, stems removed
- 1 frozen banana
- 2 tablespoons almond butter
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 to 2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1 pinch cinnamon
- 1 small pinch sea salt
- 3 to 4 ice cubes
- Optional add-ins: 1 tablespoon chia or flax, a scoop of protein powder, or a small handful of oats
Instructions
- Add almond milk to the blender first.
- Add figs, frozen banana, almond butter, cinnamon, sea salt, and any optional add-ins.
- Blend on low, gradually increasing to high until smooth, about 30 to 45 seconds.
- Taste and adjust sweetness with honey or maple syrup, add ice if desired.
- Pour into a chilled glass and enjoy immediately for the best texture.
Notes
For the best texture, keep one ingredient frozen, either the banana or some of the almond milk as ice cubes. Feel free to customize with additional ingredients!
