Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup apple cider or apple juice
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons elderberry syrup
  • 1 small lemon, juiced
  • 1 inch fresh ginger, peeled (optional)

  • Water or ice (as needed)
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons optional sweetener (honey or maple)

Instructions

  1. Wash and core the apples. No need to peel.
  2. Juice the apples and ginger.
  3. In a pitcher, stir in the apple cider, lemon juice, pinch of cinnamon, and elderberry syrup.
  4. Taste and add honey or maple if desired, then pour over ice.
