- 1 cup apple cider or apple juice
- 2 to 3 tablespoons elderberry syrup
- 1 small lemon, juiced
- 1 inch fresh ginger, peeled (optional)
- Pinch of cinnamon
- Water or ice (as needed)
- 1 to 2 teaspoons optional sweetener (honey or maple)
Instructions
- Wash and core the apples. No need to peel.
- Juice the apples and ginger.
- In a pitcher, stir in the apple cider, lemon juice, pinch of cinnamon, and elderberry syrup.
- Taste and add honey or maple if desired, then pour over ice.
