Description

A quick and delicious smoothie packed with cherries and açaí for a refreshing breakfast or afternoon pick-me-up.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe frozen cherries
  • 1 açaí puree packet (unsweetened)
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt or dairy-free yogurt
  • 1 cup milk of choice (almond, oat, or regular)
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Ice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add to the blender in this order: milk, yogurt, açaí packet, banana, cherries, lemon juice, then honey if using.
  2. Blend on low first to break up the frozen fruit, then increase to high until ultra smooth.
  3. Stop and scrape down the sides if needed. Add a splash more milk for a thinner sip.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness with more lemon or honey.
  5. For a thicker smoothie, add extra frozen cherries or a few ice cubes and blend again.

Notes

Pre-portion your fruit in freezer bags for quick blending. Experiment with add-ins like sea salt or vanilla for enhanced flavor.
