A simple and delicious matcha chia pudding that’s perfect for breakfast or as a snack. Prep it the night before for a creamy, nourishing treat.
Ingredients

- 3 tablespoons chia seeds
- 3/4 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
- 1/2 teaspoon matcha powder
- 1 to 2 teaspoons maple syrup or honey
- 2 tablespoons yogurt (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a jar, combine chia seeds, milk, matcha powder, maple syrup or honey, yogurt (if using), vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
- Stir well to combine and let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Stir again to prevent clumping, then cover the jar and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
- Before serving, stir again and add more milk if needed to adjust the consistency.
Notes
The pudding can be stored in the fridge for 3 to 4 days. For best texture, store toppings separately.
