Ingredients

- 2 medium green apples, cored
- 1 large fennel bulb, with fronds (optional)
- 4 celery stalks, leafy tops included
- Half a lemon, peeled (optional)
- Small piece of fresh ginger, about 1 inch (optional)
- Ice cubes for serving
Instructions
- Wash produce well and trim any tough fennel ends.
- Core the apples.
- If using a juicer: Feed the fennel, celery, apples, lemon, and ginger through the juicer. Stir the juice to combine.
- If using a blender: Chop everything, blend with 1 cup of cold water until smooth, then strain through a fine sieve or nut milk bag.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or tanginess if necessary.
- Serve over ice and drink right away for the brightest flavor.
Notes
Add lemon if storing for a few hours to maintain freshness. Use only fresh, crunchy produce for the best flavor.
