Celery Fennel Apple Juice


Description

Ingredients

  • 2 medium green apples, cored
  • 1 large fennel bulb, with fronds (optional)
  • 4 celery stalks, leafy tops included
  • Half a lemon, peeled (optional)
  • Small piece of fresh ginger, about 1 inch (optional)
  • Ice cubes for serving

Instructions

  1. Wash produce well and trim any tough fennel ends.
  2. Core the apples.
  3. If using a juicer: Feed the fennel, celery, apples, lemon, and ginger through the juicer. Stir the juice to combine.
  4. If using a blender: Chop everything, blend with 1 cup of cold water until smooth, then strain through a fine sieve or nut milk bag.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness or tanginess if necessary.
  6. Serve over ice and drink right away for the brightest flavor.

Notes

Add lemon if storing for a few hours to maintain freshness. Use only fresh, crunchy produce for the best flavor.
