Camu Camu Ginger Apple Juice


Description

A bright and zesty wellness shot made with camu camu, ginger, and apple for a refreshing boost.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium crisp apples, cored
  • 1 to 1.5 inches fresh ginger, peeled
  • 1 lemon, peeled
  • 1 teaspoon camu camu powder
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • Optional: 1 to 2 teaspoons honey or pure maple syrup
  • Optional: 1 pinch ground turmeric
  • Optional: splash of cold water if blending

Instructions

  1. Juicer method: Run apple, ginger, and lemon through your juicer. Whisk in camu camu powder until fully dissolved. Add black pepper and optional honey or turmeric. Pour into small bottles and chill.
  2. Blender method: Roughly chop apple, ginger, and peeled lemon. Add to blender with a splash of water. Blend on high until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh sieve or nut milk bag. Whisk in camu camu powder, black pepper, and optional honey or turmeric. Bottle and chill.
  3. Serving: 2 to 3 ounces per shot. Enjoy cold. Shake gently before pouring.

Notes

Fresh is best, but can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to 3 days. Shake before drinking as spices may settle.
