Ingredients

- 2 medium crisp apples, cored
- 1 to 1.5 inches fresh ginger, peeled
- 1 lemon, peeled
- 1 teaspoon camu camu powder
- Pinch of black pepper
- Optional: 1 to 2 teaspoons honey or pure maple syrup
- Optional: 1 pinch ground turmeric
- Optional: splash of cold water if blending
Instructions
- Juicer method: Run apple, ginger, and lemon through your juicer. Whisk in camu camu powder until fully dissolved. Add black pepper and optional honey or turmeric. Pour into small bottles and chill.
- Blender method: Roughly chop apple, ginger, and peeled lemon. Add to blender with a splash of water. Blend on high until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh sieve or nut milk bag. Whisk in camu camu powder, black pepper, and optional honey or turmeric. Bottle and chill.
- Serving: 2 to 3 ounces per shot. Enjoy cold. Shake gently before pouring.
Notes
Fresh is best, but can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to 3 days. Shake before drinking as spices may settle.
