Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup fresh spinach leaves (or kale)
- 1 banana (the riper, the better)
- 1/2 cup frozen pineapple or mango
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or oat milk)
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds or flax seeds
- Ice cubes (a handful)
Instructions
- Place the liquid (almond milk) at the bottom of the blender.
- Add the greens (spinach or kale) to blend smoothly.
- Add the banana and frozen fruit.
- If using, sprinkle in chia or flax seeds last.
- Blend until silky, adding a drizzle of honey or squeeze of lemon if needed.
- Pour over ice and enjoy!

Use frozen fruit for a creamier texture. Adjust flavors as needed before serving.
