Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh spinach leaves (or kale)
  • 1 banana (the riper, the better)
  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple or mango
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or oat milk)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds or flax seeds
  • Ice cubes (a handful)

Instructions

  1. Place the liquid (almond milk) at the bottom of the blender.
  2. Add the greens (spinach or kale) to blend smoothly.
  3. Add the banana and frozen fruit.
  4. If using, sprinkle in chia or flax seeds last.
  5. Blend until silky, adding a drizzle of honey or squeeze of lemon if needed.
  6. Pour over ice and enjoy!

Notes

Use frozen fruit for a creamier texture. Adjust flavors as needed before serving.
